I recently had all of my FTP passwords compromised and all of my sites attacked with a PHP injection script that installs viruses that steal more passwords. Now I am debating the value of continuing to maintain my websites:

1. TacosNTonic.com
2. Freeple.com
3. RoadPetition.com
4. 2 Facebook Apps

I haven’t had any true successes. Sure, there was some fun and a lot of learning along the way. I think some ideas could be a success story if only I could dedicate some time to them. Give me one good reason I should spend the time to maintain these sites, maybe even add features as I have time.

I get a ridiculous amount of spam so its slightly tempting but I know deep down that it won’t help a bit.

When I was in Spain 2 weeks ago, I went to my friend’s wedding celebration that also happened to be the same night as Day Light Savings. We turned back the clocks that night and we all celebrated an extra hour on the dance floor.

When I returned to America, we had another Day Light Savings and our clocks were again turned back an hour.

That means I am 1 hour ahead of all of you. If only I used that time to update this blog

On vacation recently, I made a couple of kites with my friend Matt. We used dried hollow sticks similar to bamboo, garbage bags liners, duct tape and string. 100% custom kite that was all natural, organic, homemade and non toxic.

Kite attempt #1

Traditional style kite that worked well with some fine tuned adjustments to string angle and position. It ended its career as the worlds best kite when it flew off into the cold ocean.

This kite resembled a wind sock more than a standard kite.

I’ve been reading a lot about the Large Hadron Collider recently and it’s been extremely fascinating. I was concerned watching this video when I saw the control panel and these 4 options for operating the Large Hadron Collider:

If I were an operator, I’d “kill” the Large Hadron Collider if lights were flashing and alarms were going off. So it makes sense to have a “kill” option, you know, just in case sh*t is hitting the fan. But an option to “ignore error”?

I wonder how many times you can push “ignore error” before something bad happens.

As you may know, my car’s license plate is “Purplest”. That’s because it is the purplest. The color is a deep purple called “phantom purple”. My car has a purple license plate light, a purple dome light, even purple lights under the dashboard.

Of course, none of these purply details are visible from the outside. Any ordinary gray clothed bystander wouldn’t notice the purple painted engine or the custom themed purple GPS system.

I was offended recently when I received this parking ticket. Only 2 explanations are possible:

1. There is no option for “purple”
2. I need to add more purple

I’m shopping for new rims for my 2007 Mazda 3. I’ll be upgrading from 17inch to 18inch tires because bigger tires just look so darn cool

I’ve narrowed the selection down to these 8. I like one of them a lot but I’m still undecided and I need your help. Now, tell me two things:

1. Which one should I get?
2. Do you think that one is my favorite?

As I’m sure you know by now, I love bacon. I also like vodka. That’s why I was excited to see bacon flavored vodka!

Thanks to Brian R. for sending me this link. I would like to add that I don’t go out of my way searching for bacon flavored items. All of these bacon themed things are usually passed on to me by my friends and family. I’m not sure what started this bacon craze but I certainly can’t complain. Well I guess I can complain about those horrible bacon mints I received, those were just plain wrong.

Now I just need to find a place I can buy some of this delicious vodka.

Sorry Purple, but my eyes have spotted a new color and I’m liking how it looks.
