Got Stuck Pixels?

June 18th, 2005 10:11 am

Epileptic FunI own a Sony PSP. It has exactly one white pixel in the center of the screen that is stuck in the on position. It is only noticeable when the PSP is powered on and the screen fades to black. It’s annoying but it isn’t the end of the world. I heard about this video on the internet that flashes colors on and off very rapidly in hopes to un-stuck any stuck pixels. It doesn’t work on dead pixels (those that can’t display any color), so luckily I didn’t have any of those.

Apparently, you can play this movie that I like to call, Epileptic Fun, on repeat for hours and hours and eventually the stuck pixels will work again. I tried for two separate 10 hour sessions with no luck :( . Others are reporting that it works so if you have any stuck pixels you might want to give it a try. This isn’t limited to the PSP either and it can work on any LCD screen. Let me know how it goes.
