I have finished a lot of work on and I believe it is ready to be unleashed on the world. Thanks to those of you who emailed me and gave me quality feedback. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know. uses Google Maps to add locations into the database. Its focus is on storing user comments, ratings, petitions, and signatures. Any user can view the petitions, email them to others including local governments or print them out and hand deliver them if necessary.

Thanks to Google for making such a cool user interface. I had fun creating this Google Map Hack and I really hope it does well. Up and Running

I finished a lot of work on Go check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks to Kevin for the logo design. What took him 5 minutes took me over 3 hours to create and implement on the site. My design skills really stink.

The average American spends 6 months during their life sitting at a red light

Are you sick of looking at a green light shining down on an empty roadway? Could your commute improve drastically with a simple motion sensor?

Do something about it!!

Use to find that annoying traffic light and make people aware of the problem! Create a petition or sign one if it exists. Leave a comment or just rate the intersection. Together we can spend more of our life at our destination!

There Was a Fire in My Backyard

Backyard Fire That we lit on purpose 🙂

Backyard Fire As far as I can tell there are no laws against backyard fires. I’ve searched the Code of Ossining numerous times now and there is no mention of backyard fires or anything of that nature. I would have suspected that I wouldn’t be able to burn leaves but that is no where to be found in the Village Code. I’ve also emailed the Town Clerk 2 times now asking if we were allowed to use a fire-pit in our backyard but no response. The 3rd email I sent to the Town Clerk, I replied to my first 2 and also CCed every single email address I could find on the Ossining website, and still no response. I’ve called as well but I can never get in touch with anyone in the office because they only seem to work 2 hours a day at most.

I know ignorance is no excuse for not knowing the law but I have done my best to see if I am allowed to have a fire. When we level out our backyard, we would like to build a stone fire-pit so I’d rather find out now if we can use it.

I decided on a name for my new website and I registered it:

The next step, and probably the hardest for me, will be to create a logo. Anyone willing to spare some graphic skills?
