Can you see the battery leads at all from the back?  It's a longshot, but maybe you can hook up a battery via wires to the leads?

Actually, from looking at the pictures again, I think you're screwed.</description>

In case this is helpful for anyone else. This was the error message I was getting: &quot;The FOL function is not enabled.&quot;

If you hold F1 when the laptop is booting up and enter the BIOS menu, under Config -&amp;gt; Network, Enable the Flash option.

Then repeat the steps to update your BIOs, and voila!  Updated BIOS!</description>
