As you know, I ordered a new car, the Mazda 3, back at the beginning of January. It will be arriving sometime in the middle of April and I am getting excited.
There’s another arrival on the way that gets me even more excited. With great pleasure, my wife Anna and I would like to announce the wonderful news that we are pregnant!
The baby is due on July 29th at 4pm. From the ultrasounds we already know that the baby will be a successful doctor and will likely receive a nomination for a Nobel prize

Oh wow! Anna, I just sent you an email at woody guthrie archives - so this may be a bit redundant, but I didn’t know you were pregnant! How wonderful. I’m so sorry that we weren’t in better touch with you; life gets so busy. The girls are thrilled - you can read that email and see what’s going on with us, but we also just looked and saw your involvement with the ASPCA and Animal Planet; Kate is so excited about that because she wants to be a animal rescue person when she grows up and she loves, loves, loves Animal Planet.
I’m a little ticked off at your Uncle Arlo — I talk to him a lot through IMs on the computer and he never even told me that Cathy was pregnant, or Sarah Lee, or you — leave it to a guy NOT to think of that (no offense, Scott).
