So I’ve decided to get a vanity license plate with the hex code of the color purple. Congrats to those of you who guessed correctly in the license plate trivia. Now I have to decide on the exact hex code and I’m obviously sticking to the color purple.
The web safe color for purple is #800080, and there’s something nice about filling up the license plate with 8′s and 0′s.
Though, it’s tough to get a good reading on my car and I’d like to match it. I thought it might help to create a pixelated image. I’m still not sure.
Well, what do YOU think? Which one of these matches the color of my car the best?
1. #800080
2. #700070
3. #600060
4. #500050
5. #400040

paintscratch.com uses #4D2A54, though that looks a little too like a normal plate number

i think 4 or 5 is closer…but agree that a license plate with 888s and 000s is sweet
