Today is 07/07/07 and there are world wide concerts happening on each continent (and one online in Zwinky) to promote saving the Earth through easy to do things anyone and everyone should be doing to help.
Some tips are:
Replace your light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs that not only last longer but save energy.
Reuse plastic shopping bags from the supermarket or better yet bring your own bags to the supermarket.
Unplug chargers from the wall socket when you’re not charging anything.
Well, I’ve got my own tip that I’m quite proud of. I’ve been doing this ever since I owned an apartment and started paying the the water bill. This tip is so easy for anyone to do that I hope you do it today.
I mod my toilets. How? I simply fill up a 2 or 3 liter soda bottle with water and place it in the water tank in the back. That way I save 2 or 3 liters of water for each and every flush. That adds up quick! I also lower the water bulb so that the tank doesn’t fill up as much. If you can fit a 3 liter bottle in there, go for it, I recommend the largest bottle you can fit.
You’ll find that missing 2 or 3 liters has little or no impact on the toilets flushing ability. So what are you waiting for? Save the world, mod your toilet today!

As you know, I ordered a new car, the Mazda 3, back at the beginning of January. It will be arriving sometime in the middle of April and I am getting excited.
There’s another arrival on the way that gets me even more excited. With great pleasure, my wife Anna and I would like to announce the wonderful news that we are pregnant!
The baby is due on July 29th at 4pm. From the ultrasounds we already know that the baby will be a successful doctor and will likely receive a nomination for a Nobel prize
So Anna and I had a pretty crazy night last night. I was fighting off a stomach flu and we were both lying in bed around 12:30am when all of a sudden we heard this tremendous crash followed by a car alarm. A group of girls had driven across our neighbors lawn, hit their porch and smashed into the Anna’s mom’s car. Everyone is okay, both of their air bags deployed, one girl went to the hospital to have her knee checked out but it was a good sign to see her standing on it. We’re guessing that they were going about 40 mph or so.
They hit a wooden fence further south down the street and continued on. They just barely missed the tree on our neighbors lawn. There was a bottle of alcohol in the car and the cops told us that drugs were also involved. One girl was throwing up and another was yelling back at the cop. It wasn’t a pretty scene plus it was freezing outside.
I feel bad for Anna’s mom’s car but if it weren’t for it, then they would have surely crashed into our living room.

I just ordered a brand new, Mazda 3S Grand Touring from Mazda. The color? Phantom Purple.
It’s got everything that I wanted AND it looks cool. Well it might not have everything, but I’m already looking into mods that I can do. I saved money by not getting a remote starter and a GPS unit and I plan on using that money I saved to get those things, and more. The GPS that would have come with the car was pretty bad and you can do so much more with other models for much cheaper.
Also on the list of mods? Definitely some tinted windows. And I’m also thinking about adding a kick ass spoiler, maybe in yellow.
The whole process took me about four and a half hours to convert my existing Paris Hilton Flash Game. I was hoping I could do it faster but I’m a stickler for details and that’s why I think it took so long. It should be faster next time around. If you didn’t already know, Kevin Federline and Britney Spears are getting a divorce. Since KFed will be on his own, he wants to make a little money to help pay for all of the strippers and cocaine.
He decided to sell the sex tape that he starred in with Britney for a cool $50 million. But he’ll settle for $30 million if he also gets custody of the kids. That’s nice.
During lunch I have noticed an unusual wooden contraption floating in the river next to my office building. At first glance, it looks like a trebuchet but it doesn’t look like it has hinges or a counter weight.
I don’t want to swim out there just to figure out what it is so I leave it up to you Internet. Please don’t let me down.
